GM 7.5" & 7.625" 10 Bolt / Posi / Gears / Bearing Kit

Bought this kit for my '79 El Camino with a moderately built 350 backed by a TH350 w/shift kit. Approx. 425 HP. Went from the stock 2.43's 1-wheel-wonder to this kit with 3.90's! What a difference. I shopped around before buying from QP and nobody could touch their price for the exact same item. Going with the complete kit will save you quite a bit. The exact same carrier ALONE costs almost as much elsewhere. I upgraded to the solid pinion gear spacer for $15. Found out I didn't need it because I have a crush sleeve set-up, but if you don't have a crush sleeve go for it. They retail for over $30. I was pleasantly surprised how quite it is also. Just a little whine at high RPMs to let you know it's there :) I'm still in the break-in phase but can already tell I made the right choice. Quality part at a great price.

All I can say is WOW! from the kit being complete to the quality of the product! The mechanic that set the gears for me has been doing this for over 30 years and his father for over 50 years, they said this was the first time for either that they used the factory shims in it first to check the pattern, it was perfect the first time. I finally had a chance to run the truck up the road last night, all I can say is I can't wait to run it down the track! THANKS

I purchased this kit for my 84 El Camino. Went from stock 2:41's to 3:55's. MUCH quicker! Highway RPMS are up a bit, but that was to be expected. Great service, great price and great quality. Thank you.
