Eaton Posi limited-slip differentials prevent wheel slip before it can start. A limited-slip posi uses carbon disc clutch packs behind each differential side gear that are preloaded by springs. As torque input increases, the clamping load on the clutch packs also increases. This causes the clutch packs to grab transfer power to both wheels
